State salaries increase

The salaries of employees in the state administration increased by approximately CZK 1,000 year-on-year to CZK 29,345 in 2009.  The state administration cost the average citizen CZK 12,000 in 2009; the expenses per one employee of the state administration amounted to CZK 781,000. The average salary of all public servants increased by 4.5 % to CZK 24,994 in 2009. The overall sum paid in their salaries reached CZK 138.3 bln in 2009.  Source:  Právo 19
