Philip Morris sales on the rise

The largest domestic cigarette manufacturer Philip Morris has seen its sales increase once again, and this time by 6%.  The first quarter economic results show the company earned CZK 2.5 billion.  The higher profits do not stem from the fact that the Czechs are smoking more, but simply from the fact that cigarettes are more expensive.  The company has also increased export to Germany by 18%.  Source:  aktuálně.cz
